BRITNI RAINE | CARMODY SHAW
Favorite Film: American Beauty directed by Sam Mendes. The first film to shake my core and remind me that ordinary life is so fast and slow and ugly and beautiful, impossibly all at once.
Talent Inspiration: Kristen Stewart, Rooney Mara, Evan Rachel Wood, Ingrid Bergman, Saoirse Ronan, Julianne Moore, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Elizabeth Taylor.
Born to Military parents Karyn and Scott Barrett in Layton, Utah,Britni Raine became a nomad at birth, moving from place to place across the country for most of her childhood, before finally settling in the Chicagoland suburb of Deerfield. Soon thereafter, she began studying voice and acting in the city seriously and passionately, knowing at the age of nine that her end game was in front of a rolling camera.
It would only be a few short years before Britni would land her first professional role in David Huzieran’s short Ordinary World, as the heartless mean girl Stacey, after the director saw her heading to the extra’s holding and auditioned her right on the spot. Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, she would play the distraught, reckless party girl in Marttie Go’s High School, I Hate You, and be given the opportunity to study with Erica Daniels of Steppenwolf Theatre, Adam Belcuore of The Goodman Theatre, and Bob Mason of The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, requiring her to move back to The Windy City.
From then on, Britni would be the first to workshop the character of Zoe in broadway’s Airline Highway (nominated for four Tony awards in 2015), under the direction of Tony award winner Joe Mantello, would go on to win the recurring bad-influence, druggie Jenna on Lifetime’s Army Wives, and take on the comedic role of Kianna, seen most recently in Showtime’s Shameless. Now based in Los Angeles, Britni is also completing an online degree in psychology with the University of Arizona, and currently writing/starring in an untitled short film with fellow Chicagoan actress, Melanie Neilan. The film revolves around a seemingly odd and abusive relationship between two young women, and the microcosm-like ways in which young adults express love and sexuality through individual romantic relationships.
LELIA YVETTA | WYNN LARAMIE
Favorite Film: I’ve never had just one favourite film, its always changed as I kept on falling in love the more I watched. A few favourites include: The Pursuit of Happyness, The Help, Forest Gump, Good Will Hunting, Brooklyn, Lost in Translation and The Imitation Game.
Talent Inspiration: Jennifer Lawrence, Shailene Woodley, Tom Hanks, Viola Davis, Matt Damon, Saoise Ronan, Robin Williams, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Scarlett Johansson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Emilia Clarke, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Amy Poehler and so many more. It is a list that continues to grow with every actor who lets themselves live truthfully and vulnerably in each moment, immerses themselves completely into something new.
I was born in Cologne, Germany, to a German father and American mother. Shortly after I was born I moved to Austria, then Holland and eventually back to Germany, Munich, where I lived until I finished high school. I had been a part of multiple plays throughout junior and middle school, but it was in high school that I really fell in with acting and the art of storytelling.
I started doing whatever I could to act: I went to summer camps including SOCAPA and NYFA, I would work with the film students at my school, I helped the Theater Department in school, as well as acted in a few plays, and I directed, produced and acted in my own short film. It was around this time that my mother also began producing her own short films and I, seizing every opportunity I could, would help her on set being a Runner whenever possible.
The summer between my junior and senior year I was introduced to Anthony Meindl and Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop (AMAW) and I immediately fell in love with the work he does and helps create. After graduating from high school I moved to the US to pursue a career in Acting. I spent the first 4 months interning at and acting with the Community Theater in Truckee, as well as starring in my first feature film, 2hrs; a film I not only acted in, but was also a Runner on set and Locations Assistant for. In December 2015 I moved to L.A to finally study full time at AMAW. Film and acting have become a huge part of my life. I love the creative, limitless, exciting energy found on film sets, and the boundless potential every moment holds while acting and discovering a scene.
SADIE EVE | CHLOE BENNETT
NATASHA STRICKLIN | SHASTA MORGAN
Favorite Film: Picking a favorite film is nearly impossible. Some that I can easily watch a million include; Girl Interrupted, Pretty Woman, Black Swan, 10 Things I Hate About You, Meet Joe Black, Sixth Sense, & The Silence Of The Lambs.
Talent Inspiration: Angelina Jolie always has and always will be my #1 inspiration. She’s effortlessly beautiful inside & out. I also find myself extremely inspired by Winona Ryder & Natalie Portman. These 3 beautiful women are such strong leading actresses that are incredible with dark, twisted dramatic roles that are completely mesmerizing to watch.
Once upon a time a beautiful Ecuadorian woman and an incredibly handsome Irish/German man met at a YMCA & then 10 years later they had ME! I was born in Riverside but grew up in Corona, CA and moved to Downey in 9th grade so I can be closer to LA to pursue my acting career. I was always pretty shy & stuck in my shell growing up, until my mom decided to have me try an acting class for fun when I was 12. My mom started acting/modeling in New York when she was 16 and thought maybe it would be something i’d enjoy as well.
When I first started classes I was scared as hell & afraid to mess up or look stupid. But as classes went on I slowly came out of my shell & was no longer afraid to take chances. As I got older and started to understand more about myself, acting classes also became like therapy sessions. It forced me to let out emotions and feelings I never knew how to express and release. Life is never roses & daisies all the time but i’m lucky to have the one I was given. I was blessed to be given such strong, loving, hard working parents that did everything they could to give me and my four siblings everything we need to be happy & to succeed. But like I said, life’s never roses & daises all the time.
In May 2015 life came crashing down & all my roses started to burn. I lost my best friend and protector, the handsome Irish/German man who brought me into this world was cruelly taken out. My amazing dad was in a motorcycle accident and instantly killed. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to endure & live with but I live every day because I know that’s what he would want me to do. I know my father stands by me every day and goes through everything I go through with me. Everything that happens in life is made to either make you or break you and I refuse to be broken. I’m living my life for me and i’m excited to go through this journey.
JOHN PAUL SALES | SCOTTY RICHTER
Favorite Film: Cloud Atlas, Juno, The Matrix. Films are very broad subject for me…I love all films and every time I watch one it never fails to give me insight.
Talent Inspiration: I am constantly discovering new inspirations from every angle, so this one is hard, but I’ll give you a few: Singer, Songwriters Trevor Hall and Nahko are huge inspirations to me because they live life in truth and I’m on the path myself to find that unfiltered existence. I am drawn to the raw performances of M83 and Explosions in the Sky and a huge blessing would be able to deliver that same level of self-exposure without fear.
John Paul Sales is a small town boy at heart who made a splash in Texas by winning a Statewide Acting Competition as a Sophomore in High School, an experience documented in the film “BURY THE SHOW.” Just a few days after he graduated High School, he packed up his car and drove to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams.
His first job was the lead in a short film with director Casey Zimmerman who said “John Paul takes time to find the authenticity in the scene and the core of his character. I had complete trust in him to bring the emotion in some very intense scenes.”
Since then, John Paul has gone on to book several commercials, including a project very special to him: the PSA “UNACCEPTABLE ACCEPTANCE” which brings attention to the issue of date rape on college campuses. He can be seen in several episodes of “Blood Relatives” on ID and as one of the leads in the upcoming feature film “AMERICAN EXORCISM” directed by Tripp Weathers.
“It makes the job of directing a film much easier when your actors are prepared, passionate and committed. John Paul was all of these. Thanks JP for bringing all you could to our film!” Tripp Weathers, director “American Exorcism

Colorado-born, Braxton spent most of his childhood in Duluth, Minnesota with his parents, sister, and house full of dogs and cats. He credits his love of theatrics to classics like “Singin’ In The Rain” and of course his family who exposed him to these things at such a young age. At around 8, he began acting at the Duluth Playhouse and starred in it’s youth productions of Into the Woods, Les Miserables and Guys and Dolls.
Soon enough, Braxton’s ambitions brought him onto the Minneapolis theater scene most memorably as Bartholomew in The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins on the Children’s Theater Company (CTC) mainstage. At the CTC, he also starred in youth productions of Rent, Hair, and Bare as part of it’s Theater Arts Training program.
Braxton relocated to Los Angeles in November 2015 and, apart from a bunch of USC student films, booked a lead role in Larry Thomas and David Castro’s independent film DADS! and can be seen in an Air Hogs national commercial. He loves acting and hopes to continue it in any and all ways possible.

Favorite Film: Hook starring Robin Williams. I’ve always loved the character of Peter Pan as a child, as flying and staying forever young were both dreams of mine. Robin William’s humor and realness brought the movie to life for me and reminded me that through love, incredible things can happen :)
Talent Inspiration: Everyone’s always told me I look and act like a young Angelina Jolie, so certainly that’s stuck with me. From her Tomb Raider years even to Maleficent, she’s always exuded grace and poise as well as fierceness and edginess that can’t be beat. Robin Williams has also been an inspiration of mine. His humor combined with his uniqueness not only made him my favorite actor, but a role model throughout the years.
I was born in Northern Virginia and lived near the D.C. area until I was 7 years old. My family then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where I spent 8 more years. According to my mother, I came out of the womb a drama queen. Singing and acting has always been my number one passion, and my parents knew it. They sent me to singing lessons, dance classes, musical theatre productions—all of which I excelled in and loved.
When I got older I fell in love with rock music, starting with Evanescence and spreading to 80s hair bands and modern heavy metal. To this day I continue to sing in the shower, around friends, on stage—everywhere. Even the grocery store.
When I was 15 I starting attending monthly acting classes in Nashville with Gray Studios. They were stationed in LA, and it wasn’t long before they were encouraging me to become stationed there as well. The summer of 2014 was the first time I went to California with my mom, and since then I have fallen in love with the exuberant energy of the professional acting world.
Being an energetic person myself, the eternal “life” of the city never ceases to amaze me. I started taking classes with Gray Studios every week and eventually worked my way up to the David Gray Master Class. I also work weekly with Amy Lyndon, a booking coach who has appealed to my analytical side. Both classes have helped me grow tremendously, and aided in my discovery of what kind of actor I am.
Aside from acting, I like to play video games, hang with my friends, learn stuff at my college, and discover new things. I’m always down for a hike or trip to Six Flags. I think it’s important to be well-rounded, as it can greatly benefit not only my acting career, but also my personal life!
